New XLE Premium Grade for 2021 RAV4 Hybrid

Very few vehicles have the capacity to be both a segment leader and a segment disruptor – but the fifth-generation Toyota RAV4 has managed to achieve just that. The latest RAV4 continues its bold leadership moves for 2021 by adding the XLE Premium model to the hybrid lineup at a starting MSRP of $32,500. Additionally, for the RAV4 TRD Off-Road, a new TRD-stamped stainless steel front skid plate has been added for 2021. New for 2021: XLE Hybrid Premium New for 2021 includes the XLE Premium grade for RAV4 Hybrid. Modeled off the gas version with some new additions, features of the new RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium include: • 18-in. 5-spoke super-chrome-finished sport alloy wheels • Power Moonroof • LED projector headlights with chrome bezels, Automatic High Beams and auto on/off • LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) with Accent Lighting* • Integrated Fog Lamps • Dual zone automatic climate control system with dust and pollen filter, front center vent flow controls and rear-seat vents • Leather-trimmed tilt/telescopic 3-spoke steering wheel with silver accent and audio controls • 5-passenger seating with SofTex®-trimmed seating surfaces • 8-way power-adjustable front driver’s seat with lumbar support; 4-way adjustable front passenger seat with seatback pocket • 4.2-in. digital Multi-Information Display (MID) • 7.0-in. touchscreen, six speakers, Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay® & Amazon Alexa compatible, USB media port, four USB charge ports, hands-free phone capability and music streaming via Bluetooth® wireless technology, SiriusXM® with 3-month All Access trial subscription • 5 USB Ports (Three located in the front and two in the backseat) • Power Back Door • Smart Key/Push Button more New Skid Plate for 2021 RAV4 TRD Off-Road Model For model year 2021, the TRD Off-Road will continue to echo the persona of Toyota’s legendary off-road racers – thanks to the addition of a TRD-stamped stainless steel front skid plate for 2021. Customers will benefit from increased resistance against debris found on or off the road with this RAV4 first-ever front skid-plate. This addition adds another level of TRD prowess to the already capable TRD Off-Road. Building on the exterior aesthetics and 8.6-inch ground clearance of the RAV4 Adventure, the TRD Off-Road goes above and beyond with suspension, wheels and tires engineered specifically for rugged trail driving. Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive with Driveline Disconnect is standard and supported by and a full complement of off-road handling technologies. To take more adventure equipment along, such as personal watercraft, dirt bikes or a small enclosed trailer, the RAV4 TRD Off-Road is rated to tow a trailer up to 3,500 pounds. The TRD Off-Road suspension is engineered to enhance body control and small-bump isolation to help smooth out trails and rough city streets. Exclusive red-colored coil springs are tuned for an off-road focus. The twin-tube shocks are re-valved and feature internal rebound springs to improve control. New bump stops maximize compression-direction wheel travel and help improve body control over large bumps and dips. The 2021 RAV4 TRD Off-Road rolls on lighter and more rigid flow-formed 18×7-inch matte-black TRD alloy wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail all-terrain tires. The tires use a unique tread pattern and compound developed to TRD technical requirements, and their rugged, square-shoulder design helps protect against punctures. The tires are Severe Snow Rated, with open shoulder grooving to shed debris, mud and snow. Exterior styling includes an exclusive two-tone Magnetic Gray Metallic with Ice Edge Roof combination accented by dark gray front and rear lower fascias, and standard front LED fog lights. The interior offers striking red stitching and red trim to further enhance the TRD Off-Road model’s cabin. Seat surfaces are covered in comfortable Black SofTex®, which is lighter than leather yet highly durable, and the front seats have the TRD logo stitched into the headrests.

New and classic Cruisers are connected through the decades by world-renowned capability, an adventurous streak and Toyota’s core values of quality, dependability and reliability. The 2021 Land Cruiser is no different, with brand offerings and leadership owners have come to know and love, garnering a few new looks as the Heritage Edition kicks off its second climb. Maximized for More to Enjoy The Heritage Edition honors this legendary vehicle’s continuous evolution with a full suite of features with its initial launch for the 2020 model year – including an exclusive two-row seat offering that allowed for more cargo capacity. For 2021, third-row seating will be an available option on the Heritage Edition to allow for more adventure seekers to experience the ride. This will be the same three-row seating configuration offered on the base model. All the premium and functional interior appointments from the 2020 Heritage Edition and base model carry over for 2020 and will have a starting MSRP of $85,815. Starting MSRP for the Heritage Edition with three-row option will be announced closer to its start of production in September of 2020. more Finding a Gray Area in the Mix 2021 model year will also offer a few more exterior outfits to go with an already stellar stylish ensemble. The 2021 Heritage Edition will bring in two new exterior colors to join Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl. Classic Silver Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic now complete the exterior color lineup, and will be complemented nicely with a black-accented grille and bronze-colored BBS 18 x 8.0-inch forged aluminum wheels featuring a “TOYOTA” center cap. A vintage-style Land Cruiser exterior badge evokes the vehicle’s long, accomplished history in an understated way. If it’s Not Broke… As the saying goes, don’t fix it. The Toyota Land Cruiser remains a benchmark for combining no-compromise capability with coddling luxury. Its sole available powertrain is a sturdy yet refined 381-horsepower 5.7-liter DOHC V8 engine, which produces 401 lb.-ft. of torque. The 8-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) teams with a versatile full-time 4WD system, which uses a TORSEN limited-slip locking center differential and a 2-speed transfer case with selectable low-range. Its off-road capability is rooted in high-strength body-on-frame construction and sophisticated double-wishbone front and four-link coil-spring rear suspension. Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) hydraulically adjusts the stabilizer bars to enhance on-road smoothness and off-road wheel articulation. Off-road prowess is supported by a plethora of advanced assist technologies, including Downhill Assist Control, Hill Start Assist, CRAWL Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist. Using the Multi-Terrain Select system, the driver can match wheel slip control to the surface and driving conditions. Skid plates help to protect the front suspension, radiator, fuel tank and transfer case, and Multi-Terrain Monitor provides nearly 360-degree visibility on tight trails. Equipped with a standard Trailer Towing Package, the Land Cruiser can pull a trailer up to 8,100 pounds. All Land Cruiser models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P). Using millimeter-wave radar and a monocular camera sensor to detect a preceding pedestrian or a preceding vehicle, TSS-P Pre-Collision System is designed to automatically apply braking if necessary, to help mitigate or avoid collisions in certain conditions. The system includes Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beams. In addition to TSS-P, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also standard. The 2021 Land Cruiser 200 Series will carry over its full complement of amenities, including ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel with power tilt and telescoping and memory, power moonroof, four-zone automatic climate control with 28 cabin air vents and Smart Key keyless entry with push-button start. A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system features standard Premium JBL® Audio with Integrated Navigation, 14 JBL speakers, split-screen capability, advanced voice recognition, Siri® Eyes Free mode, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Bluetooth® connectivity and music streaming, and Qi wireless phone charging with compatible phones. For over 60 years, one model name has been a constant in Toyota’s American dealerships: Land Cruiser. The full-capability, premium-luxury 2021 Land Cruiser may seem worlds away from its bare-bones, mountain-climbing ancestor, but the two are linked by the common thread of all-road adventure that’s millions of miles long.

Toyota Revs Up Support for E-Learning Across United States

Have you ever wondered how a Toyota vehicle is designed? Or how the Toyota Camry, America’s best-selling sedan for 18 straight years, is built? Or what it is like to work in a modern manufacturing environment? Well, now you can easily find the answers to those questions… virtually. Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) has launched an exciting new virtual education hub providing visitors with an immersive experience and a chance to visit many of its U.S. manufacturing facilities. The hub includes a series of free STEM-based lessons and curriculum through Toyota USA Foundation partners, virtual field tips and more. “This virtual education hub and the plant tours provide a digital window into our world and the guiding philosophies behind our manufacturing processes and products, including Continuous Improvement and Respect for People,” said Chris Reynolds, TMNA chief administrative officer, Manufacturing and Corporate Resources. more “Our goal with the Hub is to inspire many, including those from groups which are underrepresented in STEM jobs or those who live in communities where job opportunities are needed, to get really excited about a career in STEM, and maybe even get them interested in joining with Toyota to provide mobility for all.” Through STEM-based lessons, visitors can learn the science behind some of Toyota’s core philosophies that go beyond building cars and trucks. Visitors can also go behind-the-scenes at Toyota’s Research and Development (R&D) center in Ann Arbor, Mich. Or step into the future at the Toyota Research Institute (TRI) to discover how Toyota is building the future of mobility while harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to make driving safer. “At Toyota, we believe in the importance of high-quality and accessible education,” said Mike Goss, president of the Toyota USA Foundation. “As educators face new challenges during this unique time, we hope these virtual experiences and free resources will provide students, teachers, parents, and life long-learners alike, with engaging content that will help bring learning to life.” In addition to Toyota R&D and TRI, visitors can take a virtual tour of the experience centers at Toyota’s vehicle plants in Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Texas to learn how popular models like the Avalon, Corolla, Highlander and Tacoma are made. Virtual tours of Toyota’s unit plants responsible for producing cylinder heads, engines, transmissions and other vehicle components, in Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee and West Virginia, are also available. All educational resources are provided at no cost and are available to the public by visiting www.tourtoyota.com/educationhub.
