Both models also offer hybrid powerplants. The Camry Hybrid has a 2.5-liter I-4 unit with 208 horsepower and up to 51/53 mpg. The Malibu Hybrid's 1.8-liter I-4 unit offers 182 horsepower and 49/43 mpg fuel economy.
Safety Features
The Toyota Safety Sense P package of active safety features comes standard on the 2018 Camry. It includes Automatic High Beams, Pre-Collision with Brake Assist, Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist. The 2018 Malibu offers several of these features as optional equipment rather than standard. Also, the Camry includes rear side airbags, omitted from the Malibu.
Features
The 2018 Toyota Camry offers certain feature that are not found in the 2018 Chevy Malibu. These include paddle-shifters, which allow you to manually shift without removing your hands from the steering wheel.
