The Camry also offers a 2.5-liter I-4 hybrid with 208 horsepower and up to 51/53 mpg. Impala doesn't offer a hybrid.

Safety Features

The Toyota Safety Sense suite of active safety features is standard on the 2018 Camry. It includes Pre-Collision with Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Pedestrian Detection. The 2018 Impala offers many of the same features, but as an extra-cost option rather than standard. Also, the Camry provides rear side airbags, missing in the Impala.
