Every new Toyota comes with a limited warranty that provides coverage in the unlikely event a repair is needed.
Every Toyota vehicle is supported by a 36-month/36,000-mile limited warranty coverage. But it doesn’t stop there.
On top of our basic coverage, we offer:
Basic Coverage1
36 months/36,000 miles (all components other than normal wear and maintenance items).
Powertrain Coverage1
60 months/60,000 miles (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts and airbags).
Rust-Through Coverage1
60 months/unlimited miles (corrosion perforation of sheet metal).
Emissions Coverage1
Coverages vary under Federal and California regulations. Refer to applicable Warranty & Maintenance Guide for details.
For Toyota hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell electric vehicles beginning with model year 2020, the hybrid (HV) battery is covered for 10 years from original date of first use or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of your New Vehicle Limited Warranty. See Owner’s Warranty and Maintenance Guide for details.
The Stop and Start engine system can automatically shut off the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop, such as at a stop sign or traffic light when the brake pedal is depressed.
Toyota provides additional features such as automatic engine shut-off or “Auto Shut Off” with an enhanced audible and visual warning to its Smart Key System* (SKS). The Auto Shut Off feature will automatically shut off the engine after a pre-determined period of time in the event the vehicle is left running. Future enhancements will include smartphone App capabilities as an added reminder. Currently, Toyota vehicles issue a two-step alert to notify the driver that the engine is running and request the engine to be turned off. Toyota has included this feature since its 2003 SKS introduction.
Toyota’s current Smart Key System meets or exceeds all relevant federal safety standards while providing added convenience, improved theft prevention, and personal security benefits.
Checked Your Tires Lately?
The condition of your tires can mean the difference between a close call and a collision
Improper inflation and unnoticed tire damage can lead to blowouts. Even undamaged tires with half their tread may lose traction on wet surfaces and hydroplane.
THE PENNY TEST
Tread depth is measured in 32nds of an inch. Tread depth on new tires typically measures 10/32 inches or 11/32 inches (about a third of an inch), while trucks, SUVs, or winter tires may have deeper treads. When tires reach 2/32 inches, the U.S. Department of Transportation recommends replacing them.
The 2022 Avalon is Toyota’s take on full-size refinement and style. With striking, coupe-inspired design, a spacious, luxury interior, and Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ (TSS-2.5+) standard on all grades, the 2022 Avalon offers drivers the comfort, quality, and safety they expect from a premium sedan.
This year, the XSE Hybrid Nightshade Edition joins the Avalon family. For 2022, Avalon features six configurations across its Hybrid and V6 powertrains. Configurations include XLE, Limited, Touring, XLE Hybrid, XSE Hybrid Nightshade, and Limited Hybrid. With a choice of a silken yet spirited 301-horsepower V6 or a hybrid electric powertrain that achieves an EPA estimated 44 miles per gallon (XLE Hybrid grade), drivers can choose the powertrain that fits their needs.
Since the model was launched in 1994, the Toyota Avalon has brought a balance of luxury and safety. For 2022, the entire Avalon lineup moves to TSS 2.5+, which adds Road Sign Assist and Lane Tracing Assist to the active safety system. The Limited, Limited Hybrid and Touring models offer an Advanced Safety Package that includes Bird’s Eye View Camera with Perimeter Scan and Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking.
Toyota’s Rear Seat Reminder is now standard on all 2022 Avalons. The feature notes whether a rear door was opened within 10 minutes of the vehicle being turned on, or at any time after the vehicle has been turned on, with a reminder message in the instrument cluster after the engine is turned off, accompanied by multitone chimes.
