It is nearly impossible to tell our servicemen and servicewomen how truly thankful we are for their service to our country. For many generations, brave men and women have answered the call of duty, and they deserve our thanks and our praise. Toyota offers a special rebate program for qualified service members to show them just how much their dedication and service mean to the company. Arlington area Toyota honors the military with a special rebate program through TFS. What is the Military Rebate Program? Toyota Financial Services offers the military rebate program. Qualified military applicants can use the $500 rebate toward the purchase or lease of a brand new Toyota vehicle. The purchase must be made through an authorized Toyota dealership. The rebate cannot be combined with the college graduate rebate. Your Toyota dealership representative can provide you with more information about the special programs. Toyota offers the program until January 4, 2016.   Do I Qualify? Military members, their household members, and Gold Star families are encouraged to apply. To qualify through Toyota Financial Services, certain income and credit requirements apply. Those who can apply include military service personnel and their household family members, retirees who left the service within a year of purchase or lease, and veterans of the US military who are within a year of discharge.   To determine if you are eligible, you must provide the finance adviser with must provide the following documents: proof of active service with a Leave and Earning Statement, your military I.D., or a DD-214 for veterans and retirees; and proof of earnings to make the loan or lease payment.   Where Can I Apply? Talk to your trusted Toyota dealer or apply online to find out if you qualify. When you apply, you will have to submit the same information as you would when applying for a loan: name, address, date of birth, social security number, and the type of vehicle you are considering.
