NEW VEHICLE WARRANTY


Every Toyota vehicle is supported by a 36-month/36,000-mile limited warranty coverage. But it doesn't stop there. 

On top of our basic coverage, we offer:

Basic Coverage [1]

36 months/36,000 miles (all components other than normal wear and maintenance items).

Powertrain Coverage [1]

60 months/60,000 miles (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system and rear-wheel drive).

Rust-Through Coverage [1]

60 months/unlimited miles (corrosion perforation of sheet metal).

Emissions Coverage [1]

Coverages vary under Federal and California regulations. Refer to applicable Warranty & Maintenance Guide booklet for details.

Hybrid Warranty

Our hybrid vehicles have set the standard for technology, efficiency and drivability. We think the world's most popular hybrids should have the warranties to match. 

On top of our basic coverage, we offer:

Basic Coverage [1]

36 months/36,000 miles (all components other than normal wear and maintenance items).

Hybrid-Related Component Coverage [1]

Hybrid-related components, including the HV battery, battery control module, hybrid control module and inverter with converter, are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. The HV battery may have longer coverage under emissions warranty. Refer to applicable Owner's Warranty Information booklet for details.

Powertrain Coverage [1]

60 months/60,000 miles (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system and rear-wheel drive).

Rust-Through Coverage [1]

60 months/unlimited miles (corrosion perforation of sheet metal). Emissions coverage: Coverages vary under Federal and California regulations. Refer to applicable Warranty & Maintenance Guide booklet for details.

TCUV Warranty

Every Toyota Certified Used Vehicle is put through a 160-point quality insurance inspection. So we thought the TCUV Warranty should be just as thorough. 

Each Toyota Certified Used Vehicle comes with a 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive warranty from date of certified purchase. [2]

Each Toyota Certified Used Vehicle is also backed by a 7-year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty [3](from original date of first use when purchased as new). We also add a 7-year/100,000-mile 24-hour Roadside Assistance Plan [4] (from original date of first use when purchased as new). The following major components are covered by the Toyota Certified Limited Powertrain Warranty:

For AL, FL, GA, NC and SC, warranty coverage differs in the following ways: 7-year or 100,000-mile Toyota Certified Limited Powertrain Warranty coverage begins on January 1st of the vehicle's model year and zero (0) odometer miles and expires at the earlier of seven years or 100,000 odometer miles.

Covers most services, including flat tires, lockout service, jump starts, fuel delivery up to 3 gallons and towing for mechanical breakdown or collision recovery to the nearest Toyota dealership. Accessories Warranty

Genuine Toyota Parts are built to the highest standards of quality, durability and performance. Most have 12- month coverage and there aren't many, if any, companies that offer a longer guarantee. 

For accessories purchased at the time of the new vehicle purchase, the Toyota Accessory Warranty coverage is in effect for 36 months/36,000 miles from the vehicle's in-service date, which is the same coverage as the Toyota New Vehicle Limited Warranty. [1]

For accessories purchased after the new vehicle purchase the coverage is 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date the accessory was installed on the vehicle, or the remainder of any applicable new vehicle warranty, whichever provides greater coverage, with the exception of car covers. Car covers are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase and do not assume any coverage under the Toyota New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
